TriLift: The latest non-surgical facelift

A facelift is one of the most effective solutions for individuals who want to shed years off their looks and get a boost in both appearance and self-esteem. Ophthalmologists are trained in facial plastics pertaining to the eyes and upper face. As such, Dr. Rivers has performed a variety of facial plastics cases- from brow and eyelid lifts to the repair of facial trauma. He is excited to offer a non-surgical option to his patients looking to slow the aging process. The traditional surgical facelift procedure can be invasive, with the risk of unnatural, tight-looking skin, not to mention the long downtime required for healing. Now, it’s easier than ever to enjoy significant improvements without having to go under the knife, thanks to triLift™ by Lumenis. Dr. Rivers is the first Ophthalmologist in the Washington Metro Area to offer this technology.

Introducing triLift: The Latest Non-Surgical Facelift

TriLift is a non-invasive, energy-based treatment for the face. It uses Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt™) in sequence with the TriPollar RF and triFX radiofrequency microneedling to reduce facial wrinkles, resurface the skin, and tone healthy muscles, achieving a facelift effect without the need for surgery.

triLift targets three elements of aging simultaneously: skin texture, structure, and contour, by treating the three tissue layers – the epidermal layer, the dermal layer, and the muscles.

The DMSt technology works by stimulating healthy muscles, causing them to expand and contract. The stimulation creates a toned, well-defined, and lifted look. The non-invasive TriPollar RF rejuvenating treatment and triFX microneedling skin resurfacing then regenerate collagen and elastin, tightening the skin, plumping it, and smoothening its texture. triLift can reduce the appearance of wrinkles by 30%, increase smoothness by 80%, and triple the production of Hyaluronic Acid (HA).

Is There Any Downtime When Using triLift?

Unlike the surgical facelift method, triLift does not require special preparation or anesthesia and has minimal to downtime. Treatment typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. You can expect a visible lift and glow that is further enhanced over time with every additional treatment.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

triLift™ combines three complimentary technologies to stimulate the natural rejuvenation of structure, contour, and texture:

Dynamic Muscle Stimulation – As we age, our facial muscles weaken over time, reducing elasticity and firmness. Dynamic Muscle Stimulation activates the facial muscles safely and effectively with electrical stimulation to cause the muscles to expand and contract. The results are lifted and toned muscles, reduced wrinkles, and smoother surface of the skin, achieving an effect similar to a face lift – but without surgery!

TriPollar® Radio Frequency – RF energy heats the underlying layers of skin, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as increased stimulation of collagen and elastin production and generation of new, healthy skin.

RF Microneedling – our skin thins over time as we age. The RF Microneedling component of triLift™ combines radio frequency energy with microneedling to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating natural production of collagen and elastin, tightening the skin and improving texture. The RF energy penetrates deeply, producing faster and more dramatic results than traditional microneedling.
